The world sees us as divided #hamradio #teamJesus

If we were a church, with tongues, talking against those who don't do tongues or with a piano, talking against those who don't have a piano, the World would say we were divided.

If we have a fellow with D-Star hearing that "that's not real radio" from an AM only hobbiest, the World would say we are divided.

If we have 20 repeaters in a 20-mile radius of a town on 10K, how unified are we?  

Don't forget to put your best face on for the World.  We are at record levels of licensees.  Don't let them listen to 7200.  Let them listen to YOU tell them this is the BEST hobby on the Planet.

Are you involved in Skywarn? No, not that yelling on TeeVee, passing in no-passing zones storm chaser action. Skywarn is local spotters using ham radio, Twitter, telephone to report conditions at the local level to the National Weather Service.

This effort, started in the 1970s, out of the 1950s video shows how local people report tornados and other severe weather events. Notice the video starts with coffee.

Are you involved in your LOCAL Skywarn program? Training is free. No souped-up vehicles required. SAFETY is imperative.

Will there be any amateur radio #teamJesus folks at the PromiseKeepers Rally July 31- August 1, 2020 in Arlington, TX?  In the rallies of previous years, local repeater and simplex frequencies have been announced.  Bring your radio.  Bring your friends.

“INDIANA REPEATER SYSTEM IS GOING DARK”

That's a tremendous loss to the Skywarn program in that Section alone.

Old folks are retiring.  Young folks have not found the need.
