Sarah's Oil #OKlahoma

 Saint Judy and I watched Sarah's Oil and it was entertaining.  

If you have any idea of Oklahoma history, you might appreciate the tie to the Freedmen, oil, Kate Barnard, Jim Crow era, and in Native American Heritage Month, how well it went for the treaties.

Factual facts in the movie:

NAACP ... formed two years after Statehood.

Freedmen ... Sarah Rector is part of that movement

Kate Barnard ... before women could vote, she was a part of Oklahoma history and government.

The maps were roughly accurate.  The timeline was believable.

Go see it.  If you are not an #Okie, take someone with you to explain it.
